I am glad I found this community!  I dig the art scene a bunch.  I live in a very artistic household - we paint, write, play music, dance, woodwork, weld, work with leather, sew...

Here is my latest creation:  suede boots.  Wearable, but not yet complete.  I still plan to add straps (partially for looks, and partially to hold the knife my roomie is making for me).  I will post pics again when this is complete.  I also plan to add bone, teeth, horn, and wood beads as I find these pieces while out hiking.

Materials include - deer pelt, suede scraps (not shown - for the straps), buckles (also not yet shown), suede lace, synthetic sinew, cow hyde (for the soles, not seen), gorilla glue, and rubber cement.  Tools include leather punch, scalpels, razor blades, embroidery needles (I killed a lot of these), needle nose pliers, and a drill.
